Enter moringa, a nutrient-dense powerhouse that hails from Africa and Asia. This incredible plant is like the superhero of the smoothie world, boasting a remarkable array of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. We’re talking Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium, calcium, and so much more!

My Go-To Ginger Green Smoothie Recipe

Ready to experience the magic of moringa for yourself? This recipe is my absolute favorite, and I have a feeling it will become a staple in your kitchen too. It’s refreshing, detoxifying, and packed with protein and nutrients to keep you feeling energized and satisfied.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ – 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or your favorite non-dairy milk)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ frozen banana OR 3-4 drops stevia extract & 4 ice cubes
  • 1 cup frozen chopped greens (spinach or kale work wonders)
  • 1 inch peeled fresh ginger, chopped
  • 2 scoops Mt. Capra Goat Whey Protein (or your preferred protein powder – I also love grass-fed beef protein isolate)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Sliced blanched almonds & hemp seeds for topping

Instructions:

  1. In your high-speed blender, combine the almond milk and lemon juice.
  2. Add the frozen greens, banana (or ice cubes and stevia), ginger, protein powder, flaxseed, maca powder, and salt.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. This might take a minute or two, so be patient!
