Bouncy Leprechaun: A Springy Delight

Inspired by The Resourceful Mama’s Shamrock Man, this year’s star is undoubtedly the bouncy leprechaun. This craft is perfect for little hands and incorporates a fun learning element by using squares to create the body and hat.

Materials:

  • Construction paper (various colors)
  • Glue
  • Small googly eyes (optional)
  • Markers

Instructions:

  1. Cut out a square for the leprechaun’s body and a slightly smaller square for the hat.
  2. Glue the hat securely onto the body.
  3. Attach googly eyes (or draw them on) and add a cheerful nose and smile.
  4. For the bouncy arms and legs, cut long strips of construction paper and fold them back and forth accordion-style.
  5. Glue the arms and legs to the body. We added square hands and shoes for an extra touch of whimsy!

This little leprechaun is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face, and the best part? Kids will love making him dance and bounce around.
