This wonderful matted print of fairy #13 is from a collection of fairies created by renowned author and artist Robert Kline of St. Augustine, Florida. The print is a lithograph reproduction of an original pencil and watercolor painting. It has been hand labeled and hand signed by Robert in pencil. All of the prints come with a 1/4" foam backing and the 5" x 7", 8" x 10", 11" x 14" are matted so all you need is a frame and they are ready to hang on your wall! Each of the prints also comes with an excerpt from Robert's upcoming novel The Faerie diaries in which Sir Edmund and Lady S. describe in their journals the various faerie sightings that they encounter. Thus, you will receive the page from the novel describing the particular event in which the character in the print is sighted. The following is a hint of what was written for this print: In fact, after a tedious day in the steamy jungle, the naturalist and his partner had returned to their camp fagged out and defeated. They adjourned to their respective tents so each may freshen up a bit before their evening toddy. It was as Sir Edmund sat at his desk and added to his journal that a faint humming came to his ears. He lay down his pen and listened intently, thinking at first a bumblebee had entered his quarters. He squinted and looked about. At last he came to believe the sound was coming from under his cot. He lowered himself to hands and knees and cautiously crept toward the bed. The buzzing transitioned to a melody as the naturalist lifted the drooping covers and peered into the gloom. There on her tummy was a faerie carrying a tune with the flutter of her wings. He drank her in with a naturalist’s eye, savor a few attributes as a man and then backed away to alert Lady S.
